This is the website of Dr. Jen Agans, a research associate at Cornell University and Assistant Director of the Program for Research on Youth Development and Engagement (PRYDE) at the Bronfenbrenner Center for Translational Research. I am a developmental scientist focusing on the ways in which out-of-school time programs can contribute to positive youth development. On this site, you will find an overview of my current work in research, teaching, and outreach, with descriptions of my approach to these areas of scholarship. All images on this site are my own, selected to reflect the metaphorical relationship between my academic work and my passion for hiking: both involve a journey that is both arduous and enjoyable, providing new insights while always leaving more to explore.
