"out-of-school time programs for youth, including arts programs, clubs, community service organizations, and athletics, can offer opportunities for positive youth development"
|
I am an applied developmental scientist working to understand and promote positive and healthy development in adolescence and across the life span. Over the course of my career, I aim to further the scientific understanding of the ways in which youth participation in physical activities and out-of-school time programs can benefit concurrent and life-long health and well-being.

My research on youth experiences in movement contexts (such as sport, dance, and circus arts) explores how participation in these activities can promote positive development and health across the life span. For a complete list of my published work, find me on Google Scholar or download my CV.
